Context:  As part of PTP, my colleague and peer in the program Emily Meineke observed one of my classes and provided feedback and constructive criticism.

Reflection:  Emily's comments on my teaching style were very insightful and fair. It was valuable to have someone going through the same program (and challenges) provide input on my teaching style and approach. I plan on improving my teaching style based on Emily's suggestions. For example, Emily noted that I tend to repeat myself at times during lectures. In the future, I plan to pay special attention to avoid excessively repeating myself while teaching. Additionally, I appreciated that Emily noted my good rapport with the students, use of humor while teaching, and implementation of technology and group activities in the classroom.
